About 

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Music with Honours and a Post graduate Diploma from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she was awarded an entrance scholarship and the BMus prize for achieving the highest mark in her year. She was also a recipient of the Laura Ashley Scholarship for Postgraduate study and was Graduate Assistant to the head of strings. She was awarded a scholarship to participate in the Bowdoin Festival, U.S.A, as well as the Chandos Memorial Bursary to become a member of the Britten Pears Young Artists programme where she played principal viola.

Rebecca has taught the violin and viola at a number of schools, both independent and state. She currently holds positions at Clifton College and Clifton High School where she teaches a range of ages from year 2 to 13. She prepares students for concerts and exams, as well as taking the Junior and Senior String Ensemble's.

Rebecca has previously taught for a range of schools through Cardiff County and Vale of Glamorgan Music Service, which included teaching groups of students as well as individual lessons. She has also taught at QEH in Bristol, St Johns College in Cardiff, and Rougemont School in Newport.

In addition to her teaching schedule Rebecca has coached at the Bristol Pre Conservatoire, which provides chamber music ensemble training for young musicians. She has coached orchestral sectionals and led workshops in schools, both mainstream and for children with additional needs.

Rebecca is a busy freelance performer and has played with the orchestra of Welsh National Opera, the National Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra de Cymru, the Bristol Ensemble, Bath Philharmonia, Cape Town Opera, Welsh Sinfonia, Milton Keynes City Orchestra and the British Sinfonietta. She is a founder member of the Allegrezza String Quartet with whom she has performed for the Queen, Prince Philip and Prince Charles, and she has recorded for the BBC and S4C.
